To manage registers and attendance – sessions that require an assessment and result in pass or fail, please follow the below guidelines:
There are 4 different methods to do mark as passed or failed. Should a client be marked as absent they do not necessarily fail the assessment. Clients only fail an assessment should they attend and not pass. Absence does not equal failure. To not set the assessment as a failure but still record the absence, use method 3 or 4.
For sessions that require an assessment and result in a pass or fail
Method 1:
This is performed within the client record.
- In either the Referral Details tab or the Referral Activities tab, in the referral action panel (at the top) the referral tasks panel. There will be any outstanding assessments. Click Manage
- A pop up box will appear
- Select the appropriate radio button (Set booking attended, Set booking absent) and mark as Passed or Failed.
Method 2:
This is performed within the client record.
- Click on the Referral Activities tab.is is performed within the client record.
- In the Manage Assigned Activities panel click View next to the appropriate activity.
- Select the appropriate button (Set booking attended, Set booking absent, Do not set booking status) and mark as Passed or Failed.
Method 3 – Mark multiple clients as passed or failed:
- Click on the Manage Activities icon
- Click on the Manage Session Registers
- Select the appropriate sessions
- Select the appropriate clients. Select the appropriate radio button (attended, absent) and set assessment (passed or failed). Click Mark absent or Mark attended as appropriate. Once happy with the register, click Finalise Session.
Method 4:
Set as absent but not a failed assessment.
- Click View in the Manage Session Bookings panel.
- Click Mark Absent.
